It only does it then, but once I'm logged in the flickering goes away. Rebooted and now I've got flickering issues (horizontal black lines) at the boot up and log on screens. Rebooted normally and allowed Vista to install the default drivers. Now, I rebooted back into safe mode and uninstalled the latest Intel drivers. Anybody have work arounds for this mobile graphics chipset to work properly? If not, continue on. Check to see that they installed fine via device manager.
The computer is on, but the drivers must be having some issue. Here's where the problem starts: upon rebooting, when you would normally see the log on screen is actually where the computer screen will just sit blank with a black screen. Downloaded, updated drivers, and rebooted. Used Vista's default driver at first, but went onto Intel's site to get the latest. I've got a Toshiba notebook loaded with Vista Home Premium (32-bit) and an Intel 945GM Express mobile graphics.
